PINC selects Holy Cross Center for Women as beneficiary

Philanthropy Inspired by the Needs of our Community (PINC), a Fresno-based nonprofit with a mission of helping other nonprofits, announced that Holy Cross Center for Women will be the beneficiary of its June 6 fundraiser.

Since 2009, PINC has raised a total of $189,500 through its annual fundraising events that have benefitted groups including Transitions Children's Services last year, Catholic Charities Diocese of Fresno in 2013 and Break the Barriers in 2012.

Since 1984, Saint Agnes Holy Cross Center for Women, based in downtown Fresno, has served as a refuge for homeless and underserved women and their children. The funds from PINC will be used to support summer programs for children at the center.

Tickets for the June 6 event, "PINC in Wonderland," go on sale in March, but sponsorship inquiries and silent auction donations are welcome. Visit http://www.pincfresno.org/ for more information.
