Philanthropy Inspired by the Needs of our Community (PINC) to Hold its 2nd Annual PINC Open Tennis Tournament on April 25
FRESNO, CALIFORNIA, April 8 2015… Philanthropy Inspired by the Needs of our Community (PINC), a unique Fresno nonprofit founded in 2008 to benefit other local nonprofits in the community, has announced its 2nd Annual PINC Open Tennis Tournament will be held at Fig Garden Swim & Racquet Club on Saturday, April 25. Matches will begin at 12 p.m. and last until 5 p.m. Registration is currently open and tennis players of all levels are welcomed. Cost is $35 per person or $70 per team. Individuals who register as singles will be partnered with a player of similar caliber. The tournament will be broken up into Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles, as well as according to NTRP rankings. Players must register online at www.PINCFresno.org. Registration will close on April 22. As with everything PINC does, this tennis tournament will be unique and fun. Enjoy music, food, raffle items and more! Naturally pink tennis balls will be used at the tournament. All funds raised at the 2nd Annual PINC Open Tennis Tournament will go towards the year-round efforts of PINC to give back to Fresno County non-profits focused on women and children. Last year, the inaugural PINC Open Tennis Tournament drew 45 teams and had a great crowd cheering on the competitors. This year PINC hopes to get even more teams to enter, continuing to raise funds to help the organization give back year round. “There was such an incredible response to the PINC Open Tennis Tournament last year both from participants, as well as fans coming out to cheer the teams on that we knew we had to hold the tournament again this year,” said Annie Domingos, Current President & Founder of PINC. “We encourage tennis enthusiasts of all skill levels to sign up today. This is a wonderful opportunity to have some fun and give back to our community.”
